Humble beginnings
My name is Trevor, and I’m the owner of TSWpedals. I am a tone freak and gearophile, just like those who buy my pedals. My motivation for building pedals, came from a dissatisfaction with what was currently being mass-produced. After having reliability issues and not feeling like I was getting the kind of tone, that I was looking for, something had to change. That change started with a tragedy of sorts. I hurt my back, and needed Lumbar Spine Fusion surgery. It was during that time of pain and rehab, that I did much soul searching. I felt like I had a calling that was greater than my current situation. As the son of an Electronics Tech, I knew the basics of soldering, and electronic theory. However, God used my time of rehab to move my life into a new direction.
With much research, and with guidance from friends in the business and family, I began working on my own line of pedals. This road has had its ups and downs, but I knew that if I focused on quality sounding analog effects, and if I used the best quality components I could find, that I would have a line of pedals that would stand out.
American Made
My goal with this company is not to make millions of dollars by outsourcing our business. We pride ourselves on designing, machining, and hand-wiring our pedals, right here in the USA. Whenever we can; we buy from American run businesses, and our laser etched designs are done by a company right here in NY. It may cost us more to accomplish this goal, but our integrity and mission outweigh the costs. The point is to manufacture at the highest level, to ensure incredible sounding effects with high reliability.
Keep it Simple
Our pedals don’t have a ton of features that are cumbersome to use when playing live. We make each pedal with the focus on incredible analog tone, with ease of use. Whether it be our Booster Shot Clean Boost, Dragon Slayer Distortion, The Fuzz, or the Double Gun Distortion, your tone will shine, without having to reinvent the learning curve.
