Being a recording engineer and studio owner, I have become extremely picky about my guitar and bass tone over the years. I have gone through countless amps, effect pedals, guitars, and pickups, but now I am finally happy with my tone! TSW Pedals Dragon Slayer can transform any of my guitars into the perfect tone. Extremely versatile from metal sounds to a light crunch I can create any setup I need. The parameters on everything are super versatile. With the added tube screamer patch in my custom built pedal it adds in even more possibilities. I have played with and recorded just about every pedal TSW has made and they all beat every name brand pedal I have tried any day! TSW Pedals is extremely knowledgable in tube/electronic theory and only uses the best high quality components around. You are truly buying a vintage quality pedal when you buy TSW. Knowing each one is hand wired and custom built for you adds a very personal touch to any pedal you buy; you're not just getting the next one out of a box on the shelf. On top of unique design creations like the double gun tube distortion pedal, custom graphics are the icing on the cake! I had a custom Penguin theme printed on my 2 circuit "Ice Drive" distortion/over drive combo pedal. Having it customized like that really makes it mine to own. I currently own 4 effects from TSW and am on my way to subbing every boss and Line 6 effect with a TSW Pedal! I won't even consider another brand again. Thank you Trevor for your awesome work!

I went to TSW Pedals because I wanted a pedal that has not been made before. It’s a simple concept of a clean boost pedal that has an equalizer built into it. This way once I find my perfect rhythm tone, I could hit the pedal and have a lead tone tailored to perfection. Thus the Boostalizer (Custom Pedal) was born. Most boost pedals on the market have only one knob and the others have options for more distortion or drive or other things that make a clean boost not very clean at all. No company has ever made a boost pedal with a 3 band eq built into it for Bass, Mid, and Treble. TSW pedals was able to make this idea a reality and not just does the Boostalizer sound fantastic but I would choose it over any other boost on the market. I even used it in the studio for recording both rhythm and leads to record my band Fawkes’ first album. Working with TSW was extremely easy. The build was quick and the sound is unparalleled. Only the best components were used and when you turn it the quality shows. TSW built a pedal for me that was just an idea in my head. If they can make a dream come true for me, imagine what they can do for you!

I have actually ditched my Fulltone for blues stuff, for the first time in 6 years! That pedal has been untouchable thus far, but your Dragon Slayer with literally 1% gain applied, sounds insane. Instant SRV! Then add the fuzz (The Fuzz) onto that tone and BOOM! Sounds better than any other fuzz I've heard - and I'm usually pretty fussy. I'm so impressed, you have no idea.

I purchased a fuzz pedal (Angry Ram Custom Fuzz) from Trevor and it sounds great. I use it all the time. It sounds good alone and it really cranks with another overdrive. Such a gritty sound, its perfect if thats what you want. He does the design on the pedals as well so you get a legit great sounding nice looking pedal.

I've had my TSW Fuzz pedal (The Fuzz) for 7 or so months now and it has been a pretty essential tool for me to have. Trevor was really professional and helped me customize my pedal to make sure it was exactly what I needed and it is just that. I can use this thing on bass, guitar, keys: you name it, my fuzz delivers.

I've been Using Rack gear for most of the 30 yrs of giggin/playing and was never satisfied with the chorus sounds i was getting out of my TC units ! I met Trevor in the Long Island Guitar Forum last year ( 2012) . He had posted one of his sound clips of a Red Dragon , As i'm not an overdrive/distortion pedal user i still agreed to meet up with him to check out his work. I also found out he;s also my neighbor , living less then 10 minutes from me, I checked out his Distortion pedal (Double Gun Distortion) and I have to say i was seriously impressed with the tone/clarity of it ! He also brought of his Chorus pedal for me to check out ! Well, needless to say, That Chorus never left my house ! One of the most thickest/ Lush Sounding Chorus pedals I've heard ! I currently now own a Chorus, Phaser & Delay pedal and he'll be building me a reverb unit as well ! \ My hats off to this kid !! His pedals are by far the REAL DEAL ! But most of all , We've become really good friends as well !

I have owned many distortion and overdrive pedals over the years but none of them gave me a tone that I truly liked. The highs were always that shrill "ice pick in the ear" kind. I just figured it was my playing or some other component of my tone. So much of a player's hands and technique go into producing their tone but I'm not one of those gifted players who can make anything sound good! I heard friends talking about Trev N Pedals and this Dragon Slayer - how it produced a smooth distortion free of the shrill highs. I test drove one and sure enough there were no ice picks in my ears even with the tone knob pinned. This pedal offers a wide range of smooth, distorted tones. I play a Strat through a Blues Jr. and this pedal can beef up a blues sound nicely, but it can also deliver some pretty heavy rock and even metal sounds. Finally, I like the tone I'm getting! It's very well-constructed and looks as great as it sounds.

I should start this by saying that I'm a total pedal junkie. I have a few dozen that rotate their way in and out of my setup. boutique, vintage, I love tweaking things and making new sounds. TSW pedals are slowly taking over my board and have never left my setup. The chorus was the first that had my ear. Its definitely the most lush, full chorus I've ever used. It replaced my TC corona chorus and I haven't looked back. Next was the boost (Booster Shot). It has a nice, transparent boost with no coloration which was very important to me. Most recently was my phaser. This phaser beats the pants off the phase 90 while keeping its simplicity. One knob is all you need to get fat, present phase. The custom enclosure (old Jack Daniels tin) makes it the coolest looking as well as sounding phaser around. TSW pedals dont need a hundred knobs and switches to get great tones. I can't wait to see what Trevor comes up with next!

"In a crowded market of cookie-cutter effects pedals and outsourced overseas manufacturing, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to work with Trevor and TSW to craft a custom pedal for my board. It was a great experience from start to finish; his enthusiasm showed through with every communication about the details of the production, I wound up with something that fits my needs perfectly and that I will use for decades to come. And I've made an excellent new friend in the process. You can't really put a price on that, can you?"

Whenever I am considering purchasing a new piece of musical equipment, I always take certain aspects into account: Quality, craftsmanship, tone, and ease of use. More recently I have also begun searching for products that not only meet those expectations, but also take up as little space as possible. I was recently in the market for both a fuzz pedal and an overdrive pedal. I was considering two separate models when I stumbled upon a company who manufactured a pedal with both effects in one small enclosure. Unfortunately for me, although the product satisfied my need for a smaller footprint, I was not thrilled about the tones it produced. That’s when I went to Trevor of TSW Pedals. I told him what my idea was: to have an overdrive and a fuzz pedal, both of exceptional quality, and to have them built into one a small enclosure. After discussing some pedals that I’ve had experience with in the past and the tonal qualities that I liked about each, Trevor recommended using his “The Fuzz” pedal and his “Infinite Drive”. The entire process of building the actual pedal was terrific. As a graphic designer, it was really important for me to have the ability to design my pedal myself and that was something that Trevor totally embraced. Every step of the way Trevor contacted me regarding both the status of the overall project and of course changes that needed to be done on the design end in order to ensure a quality end result. Nothing ever changed without my permission, there were no surprises or “I thought I told you” moments, Trevor was up front and forward about everything, which was something that I greatly appreciated. After two weeks of anxiously waiting, I finally got word from Trevor that my pedal was done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived to see my pedal for the first time the end result was not what I expected, it was much more than that. I could not believe the quality of Trevor’s work. It was as if Trevor went inside my head and pulled out the exact pedal that I had been imagining. I could not believe how great my design looked laser etched onto the enclosure, but my design pails in comparison to the expert work done on the inside of the stomp box itself. There are very few pieces of gear that I own that I can’t imagine ever parting ways with, this pedal is one of those pieces. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result or the entire process. Trevor is an expert craftsman, terrific businessman, and a great person as well. Thank you so much for the effects pedal of my dreams, you’ve made me a TSW customer for life. Much love and support,

The Verbal Diarrhea reverb pedal is simply amazing. I am more than satisfied. 3 knobs dial in classic, vintage and modern reverb styles and tones. Trev @ TSW Pedals is as masterful with his work as much as he is a pleasure to work with. He designed the knobs to work in this way
VERB ~ Controls the amount of spring reverb effect in your signal.
DWELL ~ Tone of the actual reverb effect (a very subtle control)
FEEDBACK ~ Controls the "aftertaste" of the reverb. A parameter that is interactive with the VERB & DWELL controls.
I have an Orange Tiny Terror, a Marshall JMP 2203 and a Marshall Bluesbreaker I use the Verbal Diarrhea reverb pedal with and the results are more than satisfying. From a subtle hint of reverb to a large cathedral hall with tone control and interactive feedback control. With this pedal you can achieve it all. Its perfect.

The INFINITE DRIVE: This pedal is fantastic. Think of it as a tube screamer with much more potential gain and volume on tap. IT can be used to create everything from a mild old school crunch to a scorching-hot rock tone that sounds like butter melting across a hot skillet. Or, for the metal heads, use it to push the overdrive channel on your amp for awe inspiring metal lead tones. Harmonics are there, and best part is its all hand wired the old fashioned way with true analog switching. Easily on of my favorite pedals. OH, and if you happen to have an old whiskey tin lying around, Trev will build a pedal into it! THE BLONDE ROCKER The idea behind this overdrive pedal is to pass your axe's natural signal to the amplifier unmolested and unaltered tonewise. Therefor, the circuitry inside is so transparent it doesn't need a tone Knob. It is usually a good idea to use less treble on the guitar's controls then you think you need, but let me tell you, this pedal is fantastic. with the gain cracked and the volume dimed, this will give you an extra fat and powerful clean tone with a hint of breakup, or use it to add cut and sustain and definition to an overdrive channel for solos. And in between these to extremes are myriad smooth drive tones fantastically suited for blues because they are smoother then they are crunchy. And if you have the stones for it, run this in conjuntions with either the TSW INFINITE DRIVE or the TSW RED DRAGON Distortion, but don't say you weren't warned! THE DARK MOD DEVICE This pedal was a massive undertaking. It started at the New York Guitar Expo when I was helping out at the 812 Guitars booth which was situated right next to Trevor and his friends demonstrating the TSW Gear. Trev had a chorus pedal that absolutely blew me away. Then I tried his Phaser, and again I was astonished at the depth of the sweep coming out of the rig. Best part was neither of these pedals colored the tone of the guitar because all of the TSW gear is hand-wired point to point, in the old school true analog fashion. The way it should be. Then I asked trev about a Flanger and he chuckled. He said "I haven't done many flangers for one reason: most of the big names take shortcuts with their flange pedals because of the many necessary components, and if I do a pedal I'm going to do it right which ends up being more expensive then a phaser or a chorus...but if anybody is willing to pay for the flange I will build the best on you'll find anywhere." Rock and roll!!! So in the following months we spent many hours and several beers putting together the build: One box with the three classic modulation effects stuffed inside...or one modulation pedal to rule them all! The phaser is that classic tone with absolutely no coloring of the tone whatsoever. The chorus blends perfectly with reverb and is so mellow it can lull the audience into a state of complete serenity. Finally, the Flanger is an absolute monster......The flanger has several knobs because it is an incredibly versatile effect. anything from a shimmering effect for cleans to a ballsy warped jet engine sound for that old school van halen effect is possible with this section of the pedal. It is absolutely amazing in every way, not to mention the envy of everybody I show it to and I will never need another modulation device. This pedal showcases everything about Trev and his TSW gear. His skill in both design and craftsmanship are here in spades and his willingness to tackle new and bold projects come through with every warble of the flange. I couldn't ask for a better piece of equipment.

Trevor is by far one of the nicest and coolest company owners I've encountered. I contacted him thinking I needed a buffer in my signal and after a long conversation he guided me in the direction of his "booster shot" pedal. Needless to say it was exactly what I was looking for. It is one of the smoothest boosts I've personally encountered and responds amazingly to picking dynamics. I couldn't be happier and I'll be going back sooner than later for more goodies. Everyone should check out TSW pedals and every serious guitarist should own at least one booster shot!

Hey Trevor, hope all is well - Chavez at 812 guitars may have already let you know, I bought the Infinite Drive from him last week. I’ve been playing with the pedal quite a bit over the last month, works really well in a live setting so I took the plunge - very cool
Thought you’d enjoy hearing some comparisons - I played your pedal up against…
- CMATMODS brownie
- Visual Sound Jeckyl & Hyde
- old Ibanez STL super tube
- old MXR distortion plus
Yours was the most powerful yet natural sounding of the bunch - no weird eq nonsense, just really worked well into several different amps (tube and solid state…). Gainy sounds are nice and bold with real presence, but you can roll back on the guitar to clean things up nicely.
Too much fun - keep cranking out the cool pedals!
Best,
Dan
